Utomlennye solntsem 2: Tsitadel

Col. Sergei Petrovich Kotov (Nikita Mikhalkov) returns home during World War II after being betrayed, narrowly escaped execution, and nearly survived in a prison camp. He finds everything has changed and must fight again for his name, honor, and love. Nadya Kotova (Nadezhda Mikhalkova) serves in a medical unit, while Dmitriy Arsentyev (Oleg Menshikov) finds Kotov among the ranks of a penal battalion standing at the walls of an impregnable fortress, "the Citadel".
