Three years after the events of Rush Hour 2, a botched assassination attempt on Chinese Ambassador Solon Han in Los Angeles sets off a chain of events that leads Lee and Carter to Paris, where they must track down a list of Triad leaders and navigate a complex web of crime syndicates, French gangsters, and corrupt officials. As the investigation unfolds, old secrets and past betrayals come back to haunt Lee, threatening to upend his partnership with Carter.
