Chizuko's Younger Sister

Mika Kitao (Hikari Ishida) is a clumsy and slow younger sister who lives in the shadow of her older sister Chizuko's accomplishments. After Chizuko dies in a freak accident, Mika is suddenly put into a series of situations where she must rely on her sister's ghostly presence to help her. The ghost of Chizuko appears again after Mika is almost raped by a stranger and later motivates her to do well in various activities such as piano recitals and relay races. As Mika navigates high school, including the school play, she begins to confront her own emotions and relationships, particularly with Tomoya Kaminaga (Toshinori Omi), who mistakes her for Chizuko due to their shared connection.
