Maisie Goes to Reno

Ann Sothern plays Maisie Ravier, a Brooklyn showgirl who becomes embroiled in a divorce case involving a soldier and his wife in Reno, Nevada, as she mistakenly delivers a letter to Gloria, thinking it's intended for Winifred 'Wini' Ashbourne, private secretary of the real target. Meanwhile, Maisie develops a romance with blackjack dealer Flip Hennahan, who helps her uncover evidence to clear up the misunderstanding. As Maisie navigates this complex situation, she enlists the help of love-struck hotel bellboy Jerry and later reunites with the soldier, Bill Fullerton, at the courthouse.
