The Mambo Kings

The Mambo Kings is a 1992 musical drama film about César Castillo (Armand Assante), a natural showman and businessman, and his brother Nestor Castillo (Antonio Banderas), a reserved composer, who flee Cuba in the early 1950s to escape danger and find success playing mambo music in New York City. The brothers work at menial jobs while attempting to revive their musical careers, meeting new friends and connections along the way, including Lanna Lake (Cathy Moriarty) and Delores Fuentes (Maruschka Detmers).
