In "Rose-Marie," Jeanette MacDonald stars as Marie de Flor, a Canadian soprano performing in Roméo et Juliette in Montreal, where she meets Jack Flower (James Stewart), believed to be hiding after escaping from prison. Sergeant Bruce (Nelson Eddy) is tasked with tracking down Jack, but becomes entangled in Marie's life, leading to a musical and romantic adventure through the Canadian wilderness.
