The Small Back Room

Sammy Rice (David Farrar), a disabled and self-destructive British scientist, struggles to overcome his demons while working on a top-secret bomb disposal unit during World War II. As he navigates the challenges of disarming deadly booby traps, Sammy must also confront his personal battles with alcoholism and his feelings for his supportive girlfriend Susan (Kathleen Byron).
