Cyril Cusack

Biography

Cyril Cusack was a renowned Irish stage and screen actor with a career spanning over 70 years. A founding member of the Abbey Theatre, he performed in over 60 productions and later joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. He made his film debut at age 8 and worked with notable directors such as Powell and Pressburger, Franco Zeffirelli, and François Truffaut. Cusack was considered one of Ireland's finest thespians until his passing in 1993.
