Odd Man Out

Odd Man Out is a 1947 British film noir directed by Carol Reed, and starring James Mason as Johnny McQueen, a wounded Nationalist leader who attempts to evade police in Belfast after a daring robbery. The film follows Johnny's anguished journey through the streets of Belfast, as he tries to secure medical care while being pursued by the authorities. Along the way, he finds solace in Kathleen Sullivan (Kathleen Ryan), but their love is threatened by Johnny's own danger and the pursuit that surrounds him.
