William Hartnell

William Henry Hartnell was an English actor born on January 8, 1908, at Regent Square in London. He is best known for playing the first incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who from 1963 to 1966 and reprising the role in The Three Doctors (1972–1973). Hartnell also appeared in notable films like Brighton Rock (1949), The Mouse That Roared (1959), and This Sporting Life (1963), often playing military roles.
