Carry on Sergeant

In this 1958 British comedy film, national service is put under the microscope as newly called-up recruits face a motley bunch of training under the bumbling Sergeant Grimshawe. With Grimshawe's unorthodox methods and a £50 bet to win with his platoon, these no-hopers must learn to work together despite their vastly different backgrounds, from upper-class cad to rock 'n' roller.
