Crossed Swords

In 16th-century London, Mark Lester plays Tom Canty, a poor English boy who bears a remarkable resemblance to Edward, Prince of Wales and son of King Henry VIII. When they meet, they decide to play a joke on the court by dressing in each other's clothes, but things go awry when they're separated and each must live the other's life. Charlton Heston plays King Henry VIII, while Oliver Reed plays Miles Hendon, who helps Tom escape from his father, John Canty, played by Ernest Borgnine.
