David Edward Leslie Hemmings was a renowned English actor, director, and producer known for his iconic role as a photographer in Michelangelo Antonioni's critically acclaimed film Blowup (1966). A boy soprano turned actor, he became an icon of Swinging London with his portrayal of the trendy fashion photographer. He also co-founded the Hemdale Film Corporation in 1967 and directed several films and television series throughout his career.
