Tarantula

In this 1955 sci-fi horror film, Professor Gerald Deemer's experiment to create a nutrient that can offset a predicted food shortage goes catastrophically wrong, unleashing a giant tarantula that wreaks havoc on a small desert town and its residents. As Dr. Matt Hastings investigates the sudden deaths of several people and the mysterious circumstances surrounding Eric Jacobs' death, he teams up with Deemer's new assistant Stephanie Clayton to uncover the truth behind the monstrous creature. Their quest for answers leads them into a desperate battle against the tarantula, which grows larger and more terrifying by the day, threatening to destroy everything in its path.
