Nestor Paiva was a prolific American actor of Portuguese descent, born on June 30, 1905, in California to parents who immigrated from Portugal. He appeared in over 250 movies and TV shows, including the iconic role as Teo Gonzales in Walt Disney's Zorro series, as well as notable appearances in The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Chetniks! The Fighting Guerrillas. Paiva passed away on September 9, 1966, due to cancer.
