Biography
Leo Gratten Carroll was a prolific English actor who spent over 40 years in the profession, appearing in six Alfred Hitchcock films and three television series including Topper, Going My Way, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Born to Roman Catholic parents in Northamptonshire, Carroll began his stage career in 1912, taking a break during World War I before resuming acting after his recovery.
