In the majestic backdrop of the Nepalese Himalayas, a centuries-old tradition is put to the test as villagers prepare for their annual trek to exchange salt for grain. The rivalries and allegiances within the community come to a head between aging chieftain Tinle and rebellious young Karma, each vying for leadership and claiming their rightful place in the caravan's destiny.
