Blues in the Night

A struggling jazz band, comprised of pianist Jigger Pine and his ensemble, finds themselves entangled in a series of old feuds and love affairs when they take in a fugitive on the run. As they travel across the country, playing gigs at dive bars and honing their sound, they become embroiled in the underworld of organized crime and personal relationships. The band's musical journey is set against the gritty backdrop of 1940s America, where jazz and blues become the soundtrack to a world on the brink of chaos.
