Shaft in Africa

Detective John Shaft travels incognito to Ethiopia and France, assuming the identity of an indigenous language-speaking itinerant worker, to bust a human trafficking ring smuggling immigrants into Europe and exploiting them, in this action-packed adventure that delves into the harsh realities of modern-day slavery and cultural clashes. With its blend of gritty realism and blaxploitation flair, Shaft in Africa is a gripping, albeit flawed, exploration of exploitation and oppression.
