Six young dancers from around the world are catapulted into a whirlwind of training and competition as they prepare for the Youth America Grand Prix in New York City, an annual battle to earn a spot at an elite ballet company or school. With their lives hanging precariously in balance, these 12-17 year olds must summon every last ounce of strength, dedication, and artistry if they hope to claim the ultimate prize: first position.
