Young and Innocent

A young writer, Robert Tisdall (Derrick De Marney), is wrongly accused of murdering actress Christine Clay, and escapes custody to join forces with Erica Burgoyne (Nova Pilbeam), daughter of a police constable, to prove his innocence. As they evade the police, they unravel the mystery behind Christine's murder, which leads them to uncover the identity of her killer. With the help of Erica's aunt Margaret (Mary Clare) and Colonel Burgoyne (Percy Marmont), they eventually expose the truth, clearing Tisdall's name.
