Skidoo

A 1968 comedy film directed by Otto Preminger, starring Jackie Gleason as Tony Banks, an ex-gangster forced out of retirement by mob kingpin God to carry out a hit on fellow mobster "Blue Chips" Packard. When Banks demurs, God kidnaps his daughter Darlene on his luxury yacht, leading to a wild and wacky adventure through the counterculture lifestyle of late 1960s America. Featuring cameos from Harry Nilsson, Frank Gorshin, Peter Lawford, Burgess Meredith, George Raft, Cesar Romero, Mickey Rooney, and Groucho Marx in a top mobster role, Skidoo satirizes hippie culture with its mix of satire, action, and comedy.
