The Matrix

In a dystopian future, a computer hacker named Neo (Keanu Reeves) is recruited by Morpheus into a rebellion against machines that have taken over the world. The machines have created a simulated reality called the Matrix to keep humans docile and ignorant of their enslavement. Neo joins a group of rebels, including Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), who fight against the machines and their Agent Smith, a relentless program designed to eliminate any threats to the system.
