Biography

Gloria Foster was a renowned American actress known for her acclaimed stage performances on and off Broadway, including roles in "In White America" and "Having Our Say," earning three Obie Awards. She also had notable film appearances, most notably as the Oracle in "The Matrix" (1999) and its sequel, "The Matrix Reloaded" (2003), the latter being her final role. Foster's performance in the 1985 miniseries "The Atlanta Child Murders" showcased her versatility.
