Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity attempt to reach the Source of the Matrix to end the war as Zion prepares for an invasion from the machines. With machine sentinels digging to Zion in 72 hours, Neo discovers his superpowers, including the ability to see the code inside the Matrix. The Oracle reveals that she is part of the Matrix and instructs Neo to reach its Source with the help of the Keymaker.
