Hugo Weaving
Biography
Hugo Weaving is a stage, screen, and voice actor born on April 4, 1960, to British parents in Colonial Nigeria. He resides in Australia, where he trained at NIDA and began his acting career with the Australian television series Bodyline (1984). Weaving gained international recognition for roles in Proof (1991), The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), and The Matrix trilogy (1999-2003), as well as notable performances in V for Vendetta and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
