Biography

Harold Joseph Lennix III was born on November 16, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to a Creole father and African-American mother. He began his acting career as a priest-in-training at Quigley Preparatory Seminary South before transitioning to the stage. Notable for his roles as Terrence "Dresser" Williams in The Five Heartbeats (1991) and Boyd Langton in Dollhouse, Lennix has also appeared in DC Extended Universe films and starred in the NBC drama The Blacklist.
