The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie

A headstrong young teacher in 1930s Edinburgh ignores the curriculum and influences her impressionable 12-year-old charges with an over-romanticized worldview. Known for her tendency to stray from the school's curriculum and her belief that she is in her sexual prime, Miss Jean Brodie devotes her energy and attention to girls she sees as special or mouldable, referred to as the "Brodie Set". As they grow older and progress closer to senior school, the Brodie Set become increasingly entangled in romantic relationships and conflicts with their teacher and the school's authorities.
