In this little-seen gem by Kinji Fukasaku, a young fisherman's son returns home after serving time in the yakuza to find his family torn apart by a local gang leader's vendetta. With his plans for revenge hidden from his mother, who is cold towards him, Jiro sets out to take down the Ashida clan and restore peace to his community, confronting his own demons and the harsh realities of loyalty, power, and what it means to do right by both family and community.
