The Old Gun

In 1944, Julien Dandieu (Philippe Noiret), a surgeon and pacifist, relocates his family to their remote château in rural France to escape the German occupation. Upon discovering his daughter has been shot and his wife immolated by a flame-thrower, Dandieu vows revenge against the Nazis. He takes an old shotgun, sabotages the bridge, and kills as many Germans as possible, using his knowledge of secret passages within the château to evade capture. In the end, he collects a flame-thrower used in his wife's death and uses it to kill the last remaining SS officer.
