House of Bamboo

In post-war Tokyo, undercover agent Eddie Kenner (Robert Stack) infiltrates a gang of American ex-servicemen and Japanese locals led by Sandy Dawson (Robert Ryan), who is so intrigued with Eddie's audacity that he arranges for him to join the gang. As Eddie gains their trust, he must navigate his perilous position while secretly working as an undercover investigator for the US Army. With the help of Mariko Nagoya (Yoshiko Yamaguchi), a Japanese woman married to one of the gang members, Eddie slowly uncovers the truth behind the gang's criminal activities and ultimately confronts Sandy in a deadly showdown.
