The Second Is a Christian

In this 1985 action-romance, a beautiful Christian nun named Kyoko finds herself torn between two vastly different men: Haruhiko, a charismatic yakuza gangster on the brink of leadership, and Kumashiro, a bumbling police detective. The Tenryu Gumi, a ragtag group of misfits united by their Christian faith, serves as an unlikely sanctuary from the violence of rival gangs like the sadistic Kuroiwa Gumi. As Kyoko navigates her affections between these two worlds, she must confront the dark realities of gang life and the true meaning of her own faith.
