No Time for Love

Katherine Grant (Claudette Colbert), a sophisticated female photographer for Mirror magazine, is assigned to photograph the Interborough Vehicular River Tunnel project in New York City. When she saves Jim Ryan (Fred MacMurray), a cocky well-built sandhog they call "Superman", from a fatal accident, she becomes attracted to him and hires him as her assistant to try to diminish her feelings. As they work together on several assignments, Katherine struggles to overcome her haughtiness and make her true feelings known, while Ryan navigates the challenges of his past and the consequences of his newfound fame.
