A Last Note

Yoko Morimoto (Haruko Sugimura), a retired actress, spends her summer at a rural retreat after her husband's death. There, she reconnects with old friends and acquaintances who share stories of death and the past. Yoko receives unexpected news about her late friends and is forced to confront her own life when a mentally ill intruder breaks into her home, leading to an emotional and introspective journey that ultimately reveals the true meaning of mortality and human connection.
