Official Competition

"Official Competition" follows Humberto Suárez (José Luis Gómez), a pharmaceutical billionaire who decides to fund a film instead of building a bridge, as he wonders about his legacy on his 80th birthday. Renowned filmmaker Lola Cuevas (Penélope Cruz) is recruited to mastermind the ambitious endeavor, which brings together two actors with massive talent but even bigger egos: Hollywood heartthrob Félix Rivero (Antonio Banderas) and radical theatre actor Iván Torres (Oscar Martínez).
