Maniac Cop

A killer dressed in a police uniform begins murdering innocent people on the streets of New York City. Tom Atkins plays Frank McCrae, a lieutenant trying to protect civilians and uncover the truth behind the killings. Bruce Campbell stars as Jack Forrest, who becomes embroiled in the investigation along with Theresa Mallory (Laurene Landon). As the body count rises, it appears that the killer may be someone from their own department, and they must navigate a complex web of corruption to find the truth.
