William Smith
Biography
William Emmett Smith Jr., born March 24, 1933, in Columbia, Missouri, began his acting career at eight in 1942 as a child actor in films like The Ghost of Frankenstein and Meet Me in St. Louis. He became a regular on the ABC series The Asphalt Jungle and had notable roles as Texas Ranger Joe Riley on Laredo and Anthony Falconetti in the mini-series Rich Man, Poor Man.
