Chinese Puzzle

Xavier Rousseau (Romain Duris), a 40-year-old father of two, moves to New York after his wife Wendy decides to leave him and take their children with her to live with her new boyfriend in a luxury apartment overlooking Central Park. Xavier finds accommodation in Chinatown and tries to sort out a job and life as he struggles to finish his novel about the complications of life. He gets entangled in a sham marriage to get a green card, but ultimately finds happiness when his French ex-girlfriend Martine returns with her own children.
