When a poisonous snake slithers onto an Englishman's stomach in India, his associate and a doctor race to save him. The film centers on Harry, whose tense situation gradually unfolds, revealing underlying conflicts and growing discomfort between him and the doctor. Directed by Wes Anderson, who is also behind Roald Dahl’s anthology series known for its unique narration and visuals, "Poison" (also known as Veleno in Italian) uses clever camera angles and fitting sound effects to intensify the suspense, while the unresolved presence of a snake serves as a powerful metaphor for Harry's latent racism.
