Raven's End

In 1930s Malmö, aspiring writer Anders (Thommy Berggren) dreams of escaping his working-class upbringing to pursue a literary career. He finds support from his girlfriend Elsie (Christina Frambäck) and parents, but his future dims when she becomes pregnant. After being rejected by publishers, Anders joins his friend Sixten (Ingvar Hirdwall), who hopes to escape through football, and they travel to Stockholm together in search of a better life.
