The Ghost of Frankenstein

Lon Chaney Jr. plays Frankenstein's Monster as it is chased out of town and later tries to kill its creator, Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein (Cedric Hardwicke), in a fit of rage. The monster meets a young girl, Cloestine Hussman, who befriends it, but the villagers later capture it and bring it to Dr. Ludwig for examination. Dr. Ludwig reluctantly agrees to help the monster by transplanting Ygor's brain into its skull, but things go awry when Ygor turns malevolent and helps Dr. Ludwig kill his own daughter, Elsa.
