Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell

Baron Victor Frankenstein, played by Peter Cushing, is head physician at an asylum for the criminally insane and continues his experiments in creating man despite being given privileges due to holding incriminating evidence on Adolf Klauss, the corrupt asylum director. Dr. Simon Helder, a gifted doctor and admirer of Frankenstein's work, arrives as an inmate and becomes an apprentice, helping design a new creature with Frankenstein. The pair acquire vital organs from inmates, including a recently deceased sculptor and a homicidal inmate who is kept alive after a violent suicide attempt, to create the hulking monster, eventually leading to a killing spree in the asylum.
