The Time of Their Lives

In this 1946 American fantasy comedy film, two ghosts who were mistakenly branded as traitors during the Revolutionary War return to 20th century New England to retrieve a letter from George Washington that would prove their innocence. The ghosts, Horatio and Melody, use supernatural abilities such as invisibility, walking through objects, and touching people to scare their modern-day guests and help them solve the mystery of the lost letter. Along the way, they also navigate hilarious slapstick humor and team up with a psychiatrist to uncover the truth behind their own haunting.
