High-Rise

In 1975, Dr. Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) lives in a luxury high-rise tower block on the outskirts of London, where wealthy residents live on the top floors and poorer ones below. As amenities fail and tensions rise, the building descends into chaos, leading to class warfare, violence, and debauchery among its residents. Laing becomes embroiled in a series of conflicts, including a sexual relationship with single mother Charlotte Melville (Sienna Miller) and friendships with documentary filmmaker Richard Wilder (Luke Evans). As the situation spirals out of control, Wilder seeks to expose the injustices within the building, leading to a tragic confrontation with its architect, Anthony Royal (Jeremy Irons).
