Crashout

In the gritty, crime-ridden landscape of 1950s America, a desperate band of escaped convicts embarks on a perilous journey to claim their stolen loot in "Crashout" (1955). Led by the vengeful Van Duff, the six survivors must evade the law and confront their own demons as they traverse treacherous terrain by foot, car, train, and truck. Along the way, each is forced to confront their own mortality, with some succumbing to self-destructive tendencies and others making fateful encounters that alter the course of their lives forever.
