Still of the Night

Manhattan psychiatrist Dr. Sam Rice (Roy Scheider) is visited by glamorous Brooke Reynolds (Meryl Streep), a woman whose patient George Bynum has been murdered. As Dr. Rice investigates further, he falls for Brooke despite her being a suspect in the murder investigation. The police pressure intensifies, and Dr. Rice tries to solve the case on his own, only to discover that someone is trying to kill him as well.
