The Divorce of Lady X

In this 1938 romantic comedy, Leslie Steele (Merle Oberon) is a free-spirited socialite who mistakenly believes she's Everard Logan's (Laurence Olivier), new client's, erring wife, after they spend the night together in his hotel suite. Confusion and misunderstanding ensue as Leslie observes Everard at work in court and attempts to reconcile with him. A series of misunderstandings involving their characters' identities lead to a heartwarming conclusion.
