The Cure

In this side-splitting silent comedy, Charlie Chaplin plays an inebriated patient who wreaks havoc on a health spa just before Prohibition takes hold. When he checks into the establishment, his suitcase full of booze causes chaos, trapping patrons and staff alike. As the hotel owner tries to keep up with the demanding drunk, Chaplin's antics lead to a series of hilarious mishaps, including a memorable Turkish massage and a well that becomes a bottomless bar. In the end, love conquers all - or at least helps him drink himself sober.
