Cry Vengeance

"Cry Vengeance" is a 1954 American film noir crime thriller directed by and starring Mark Stevens as ex-cop Vic Barron. After his family was killed in a car bombing and he was framed for it, Barron sets out to exact revenge on gangster Tino Morelli (Douglas Kennedy), who he believes was responsible. With the help of Peggy Harding (Martha Hyer) and Roxey Davis (Skip Homeier), Vic eventually tracks down Morelli's daughter Marie (Cheryl Callaway), but his desire for revenge is tempered by her kindness towards him, leading to a more nuanced conclusion.
