Once Upon a Time in Venice

Steve Ford (Bruce Willis), a Los Angeles private detective and wild man about town, must team up with gang leader Spyder (Jason Momoa) to retrieve stolen cash and cocaine after his dog Buddy is snatched by Spyder's thugs. Along the way, Steve juggles multiple tasks, including stealing back a car from Spyder and dealing with his own personal issues. With the help of his assistant John (Thomas Middleditch), best friend Dave Phillips (John Goodman), and sister-in-law Katey Ford (Famke Janssen), Steve must navigate a series of misadventures to get Buddy back and save himself.
